Your access to the gated apps remains live until the end of your current billing period. After that, the Stack Builder PRO and Group Buy login will deny you with an "inactive membership" message. Re-pledge anytime and access turns back on at your next login.
Yes. Patreon handles the proration. The moment your new tier is active on Patreon's side, log out of any gated app and log back in — our login pulls your current tier fresh from Patreon every time, so the upgrade reflects immediately.
Research Student ($10) — community feed, dossiers, Discord, AMA submissions. No member-app access. Software Only: Advanced Stack Builder ($12) — Advanced Stack Builder access only (no group buys). Applied Protocol Member ($25) — unlocks Stack Builder AND Group Buys, plus the full reference library. Advanced Practitioner ($75) — adds custom research frameworks, case studies, quarterly group calls. Private Mentorship ($350) — 1-on-1 educational discussion and direct access (limited capacity).
No. Every member app uses Patreon OAuth. You click "Sign in with Patreon," authorise once, and Patreon confirms your membership tier directly to the app. We never see your Patreon password and we don't store one on our side.
No. The OAuth scope we request is the minimum needed to confirm your tier and read your name + email. We never see your card, billing address, or payment history. Patreon owns all of that.
Instantly. Once Patreon marks your pledge as active (within seconds of a successful card charge), you can sign into any gated app and your tier will reflect on first login.
No. Long-standing patrons on legacy tiers are grandfathered into their original benefits as long as the pledge stays active without lapse. If you ever cancel, the legacy benefits don't come back — you'd re-join at current tier definitions.
